Tschurtschenthaler Lodge
Tschurtschenthaler
Lodge (pronounced "Church-en-taller") is a new Bed and Breakfast
run by Hugo and Brandy Tschurtschenthaler in Golden, B.C. Located 7 Km
south of the heart of Golden, on a sunny bench set in the hillside, the
lodge provides beautiful panoramic views of the Dogtooth and Purcell mountain
ranges as well as the Columbia River and surrounding wetlands below.
The
lodge blends history with modern day to create the welcoming and solid
rustic feel. Hand hewn logs from the Bergenham home built in 1894 just
west of Golden are used throughout the lodge. The interior doors from
1916, complete with original brass hardware, hail from Chateau Lake Louise.
The main floor is an open concept where the kitchen, dining and living
rooms share the beautiful view. The lodge is non-smoking. We welcome children but don't accommodate
pets, although we must confess to a resident cat.

Probably a nicer campground, located above the Nicholson LZ, but you definitely

Irv & Maria Graham Tel: 250-344-5863 Every one of these is the sort
of place I am very comfortable recommending anyone to go to. All these
people just love being hosts, and seem to vie with one another to be the
best cooks. Simply spending a week eating one day at each would be a week
well spent!
